Maribeth G Knuth

Maribeth G. Knuth, 89, of Sun City, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2026. A devoted follower of Christ, she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Lyle M. Knuth.

Maribeth was born to Clarence and Helen Jacob on February 3, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bayview High School in 1955. Maribeth dedicated her life to being a devoted pastor’s wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, and quilting, as well as playing Mahjong, dominoes, and card games.

Maribeth was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle M. Knuth. Survivors include her children Tami Painter (Jeff) of Dolores, CO; Steve Danforth (Gloria) of Boise, ID; Julie Gorkowski (George) of Glendale, AZ; Susan Sagebiel (Dennis) of Strawberry, AZ; Robert Danforth (Paula) of Garden City, KS; and Nathan Knuth (Pam) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by many dear grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Maribeth was a member of several congregations throughout her life, most recently at Lakeview Methodist Church until her passing.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Lakeview Methodist Church.
