Marie Driscoll

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother and meme', Marie (Gaudet) Driscoll, from Windsor, CT who departed this world peacefully on March 25, 2026 surrounded by her immediate family. She was 81 years young.

Born on July 11,1944 in Hartford, CT Marie was a woman of extreme strength, wit, and selflessness who deeply loved her family and pets. She enjoyed working as an inspector for machine shops in her hometown of Windsor, CT. Friends and family alike loved her and loved listening to the many stories she would tell about work, growing up in Hartford, and cruising the Berlin Turnpike with her friends. She was extremely proud of her French heritage.

Marie was more than a mother and meme'. She was an exceptional woman who left an endearing mark and smile on everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed. May her love and light continue to guide and watch over us.

She is survived by her son Kurt Driscoll of Windsor, CT, daughter Shelby Malinowski and her husband Chris Malinowski of East Granby, CT, grandchildren Krystle Vieira of Enfield, CT, Evan, Chase and Cole Malinowski of East Granby, CT, and great grandchildren Scarlett and Malia of Windsor Locks, CT, along with her nephews Steven and Richard Petruzzi.  

In celebration of her life, a funeral mass will be held April 11, 2026 at 10am at St Joseph Parish, 1747 Poquonock Avenue, Windsor, CT.
