Marilyn Fritz (formerly Marilyn Krawczyk), aged 70, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Santa Clarita, California. Raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey, Marilyn found her calling as a travel agent in Santa Barbara, where her own passion for exploring the world was infectious, inspiring her customers to embark on adventures of their own. Marilyn lived a beautiful life filled with curiosity, love, and an enduring passion for travel and animals.
Marilyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Kevin; her mother-in-law, Helen Meloy; her sisters, Janice Bixby and Nancy Krawczyk; and her in-laws Jack Bixby, Kathy Bryant, Geralyn Pauli, Maureen Webb, Robert Fritz, and many nieces and nephews. She has mourned the passing of her beloved parents, Benjamin and Frances Krawczyk, and her sister-in-law, Mary Perry.
A true adventurer at heart, Marilyn found immense joy in exploring the world. Her travels brought her to countless destinations, where she connected deeply with the people and places she encountered. She especially treasured her friendships in Santa Barbara, Pine Mountain Club, North Plainfield, and across the country. Her wit, charm, warmth, and unmistakable spark left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Marilyn's love for animals was another defining part of her life. Her compassionate and gentle nature extended to all creatures great and small, reflecting the depth of her caring spirit.
The loss of Marilyn will be profoundly felt by all who were blessed to know her. May her memory, filled with warmth, laughter, and love, serve as a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all whose lives she so gracefully touched.
