Marilyn J. (Schlicher) Hartranft

87 years of age and longtime resident of North Catasauqua, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 19, 2026 surrounded by all that she loved. She was the widow of Eugene R. Hartranft for 62 years at the time of his passing in 2025.

She was a longtime waitress, starting at the Pilots Club and Early American Restaurant, and completing her career at Brookside Country Club after 65 years of dedication.

She is survived by sons Robert E. Folland and Eugene K. "Duke" Hartranft: four grandchildren and three great grandchildren: sister Earlene A. Pitts, along with extended family. Beside her husband, she was predeceased by daughter in law MaryAlice Hartranft in 2024 and sister Lucille M. Reisinger in 2025.

Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery of Saint Mary in Catasauqua will be private at the convenience of her Family.
