Marilynn Redmond Griffin

Marilynn Redmond Griffin was born on September 24, 1950 to John and Jean Redmond in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She began her career in San Francisco, CA working as an Administrative Assistant for Ernst & Young and Coldwell Banker. She thrived in her following roles as personnel manager at R.N. Goldman & Co. and marketing assistant for Westfield Shopping Center in Solano Mall, Fairfield, CA. On June 30, 1989 she married John T. Griffin. John and Marilynn moved to Gaylord Michigan in 2003. She worked as an administrative assistant for J&N Commercial division and later at Family Pet Cremation Centers. She loved animals and enjoyed her time helping people with the loss of their pets. She cherished her time connecting with friends and family over lunch and happy hour. She passed away on August 6, 2025 in Gaylord, Michigan. She is survived by her niece Diana Durden and stepson John T Griffin IV and his family. She was preceded in her death by her parents, John and Jean Redmond, her husband John T Griffin III, her brother John Redmond III, her nephew Johnathan Redmond, and stepdaughter Kate Griffin Wheeler. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Fairmont Memorial Park in Fairfield CA on Friday March 13, 2026 at 2:30. She will be remembered for her honesty and her bold and fearless personality. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
