Marion Eskenas

Marion Eskenas, age 75, of Chelmsford, passed away on December 14, 2025. She was born on August 28, 1950, and was the beloved widow of Joseph Eskenas. Marion was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Pilkington) Topping.

Born and raised in Malden, Marion graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1968. She moved to Chelmsford in 1979, where she made her home for many years.

Marion cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She enjoyed day trips and staying very active, particularly while on vacation. Marion also had a fondness for Queen Elizabeth and enjoyed following the Royal Family. She maintained a close-knit group of friends for many years, whom she considered lifelong friends.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Eskenas and his wife Andrea Haapanen of Fitchburg; her daughter, Kristen Motard and her husband Mark of Chelmsford; her sisters, Catherine Monico and her husband Steven of Haverhill, Frances Hay and her husband Robert of Andover, and Christine Parsons and her husband David of Malden; and her six grandchildren, Kaleigh, Owen, Aubrey, and Madelyn, Motard, Alana Lackey, and Alexander Eskenas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marion was the sister of the late Cheryl Corn and James Corn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Road, North Chelmsford, MA, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
