Marion Jacklyn Reynolds ("Jackie") of Southlake, Texas, peacefully entered eternity on March 14, 2026.
Jackie was born on February 17, 1932, in Maypearl, Texas, to Jack Evans and Virginia Mozelle Chapman Evans. She married the love of her life, Dale Reynolds, in 1951. They raised their three boys together in Dallas, TX and lived in Brownwood, TX, and Brea, CA before retiring in Keller, TX in 1995.
For more than 30 years, Jackie was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Keller, TX. She found great joy in serving through the Greeters Ministry, where she welcomed countless people and formed many lifelong friendships. She remained part of this ministry until her health no longer allowed it. Even then, she continued to minister to others through the thoughtful cards she so loved to send. Jackie held a deep faith in the promise of eternal life and now rests peacefully in the presence of the Lord.
She was a talented homemaker and excellent cook. She loved sharing her recipes with her children and grandchildren, who cherish memories of learning to bake her famous Candy Cane Cookies and Potato Rolls with her. She loved decorating her home and gathering family and friends for delicious meals and games, especially during the holidays.
Affectionately known to her family as "Mimi Darlin," Jackie is survived by her sons; Tommy Reynolds (Vickie) of Weatherford, Texas, Danny Reynolds (Leanna) of Southlake, Texas, and David Reynolds (Dana) of Nashville, Tennessee.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Brandon Reynolds (Miranda) of Dayton, Texas, Taber Crawford (Adam) of Argyle, Texas, Brynn Dempsey (Taylor) of Abilene, Texas, Tara Tate (Tyler) of Southlake, Texas, Andrew Reynolds (Elizabeth) of Pflugerville, Texas, Matthew Reynolds of Houston, Texas, and Jack Reynolds and Tyler Reynolds of Nashville, Tennessee. Jackie was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Dale Reynolds; her parents; and her two sisters, Angel Roberts and Kathy Riddle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church, 225 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX, on April 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Discovery Village Southlake for their many years of loving care, and to Hospice Plus—especially Kathy Sibley and Miara Estevez—for their compassion and support during Jackie's final months.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Widows Ministry at First Baptist Church, 225 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248.
