Mark David Northrup, age 70, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, independence, and deep love for others.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Mark later moved to Tampa, Florida, where he spent most of his life enjoying the sunshine, the beach, and the water he loved so much. He had a passion for fishing, nature, and lived life on his own terms until the very end.
Mark was known for his strong work ethic and determination. He was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did, and that perseverance carried him through life's many chapters of heartbreak and triumphs.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Christine St. Germain, and son-in-law, Shaun St. Germain; his four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Northrup Green and her husband, Rich Green, and Susan Northrup.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Northrup, father, Willard "Bill" Northrup, lovingly known as "Chipmunk Cheeks"; his mother, Carol Northrup; and his brothers, Gerry Northrup and Robert Northrup.
Above all else, Mark loved his daughter with his whole heart throughout his life. In his later years, he formed meaningful friendships within his senior living community, bringing comfort not only to him but also to his family, who will forever be grateful for those connections.
Mark will be remembered for his independent spirit, his love of life, and the lasting impression he left on those who knew him.
I'll hold you in my heart until I can hold you in heaven ❤️
We love you forever xo
