Marlene De Minck

Marlene Harris DeMinck, born March 2, 1932 in Sugar City Idaho, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 in Fargo North Dakota.
Marlene was born to James Harris and Marjorie Blake Harris. She was the oldest of four children, Karla (John) Kromenhoek , Blake (Rosemary) Harris and Van Harris.

On August 25, 1951 Marlene married the love of her life, Gene De Minck. Together they raised seven children: Teresa (Don) Smith, Renee (Glenn) Hurst, Tony (Sue) De Minck, Diane (Kent) Kleist, Doug (Paula) De Minck, Steve De Minck and Mike (Debi) De Minck. Their family grew to include 13 grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren , and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Marlene and Gene eventually retired to Nampa Idaho. Later Marlene relocated to Fargo, ND to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by Gene, sister Karla, brother Van, son Doug and grandson Travis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate staff at St. Catherine's in North Fargo for the exceptional care they provided.

Graveside services will be held on February 26, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery , Nampa Idaho
