Martha Ricci, 81, of Woburn, Massachusetts, passed away on March 23, 2026.
Born on May 26, 1944, in Malden, Massachusetts, Martha was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Reardon) Fell. The youngest of nine children, she was raised in Medford, Massachusetts, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for family, community, and helping others—values that remained at the heart of who she was.
In 1979, Martha made Woburn her home, where she quickly put down roots and became a cherished fixture of the neighborhood affectionately known as the "Robinson Road Crew." Surrounded by close friends and neighbors, her home was always filled with laughter, conversation, and gatherings of every kind.
Martha had a rare gift for listening and making people feel truly seen and valued, whether in her workplace, among friends, or within her family. She embraced life with joy, humor, and an infectious fun-loving spirit. A true "hostess with the mostest," Martha welcomed everyone into her home—hosting countless holiday celebrations, neighborhood parties, and memorable Patriots playoff and Super Bowl game gatherings. Her house was always the place to be.
Martha also loved to travel and treasured the time she spent with her husband of 52 years, Anthony "Yogi" Ricci. She found great joy in family celebrations, holidays filled with laughter, and quiet days spent happily putzing around her home. Above all, Martha deeply cherished the relationships she built throughout her life, especially with her 22 nieces and nephews and their extended families.
She is survived by her children, Diane Diorio of Everett, David Ricci and his wife Wendy of Plantation, Florida, and Janet Ricci Hare of Woburn; her grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Diorio and Lacey and Abbigail Martha Ricci; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Martha was predeceased by her parents, all 9 of her siblings, and her husband, Anthony "Yogi" Ricci, who was truly the love of her life.
Martha will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, and the profound impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know and love her.
