Marva Jean Winans

MARVA "JEAN" WINANS - AUGUST 16, 1940 - MARCH 24, 2026

Jean Winans passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the age of 85, in her apartment at Maple Ridge Retirement Community, Cedar Park, Texas.
She was born in Sweetwater, Texas on August 16th, 1940 to Marvin and LaVerne Lucas. She married Leslie F. Winans on April 18th, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Lucas and her husband.
Jean is survived by her three children, Leslie F. Winans, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, Robbie Zamora and her husband, Rene, John Winans and his wife, Kendra; her grandchildren, Wade Taylor and his wife, Crystal, Leslie Winans, III, Veronica Hicks and her husband, Jake, Tyler Winans and his wife, Grace, Zack Zamora and his wife, Samantha, Xavier Zamora and Jace Mann and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cooper and Hallie Taylor, Levi and Rosa Hicks and Zoe Zamora.
She is also survived by her sister Joan Watson, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home later this Spring.
