Marvin Wayne Owens, 85, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in Benton, Arkansas. Born on February 4, 1941, in Tucapau, South Carolina, Marvin lived a life marked by dedication to his family and service to his country.

Marvin proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW2) before retiring. His military career was a testament to his unwavering commitment and discipline, values that he carried into every aspect of his life.

Marvin shared nearly 48 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Velia Cacciatori Owens. Their marriage was a partnership filled with love and devotion that endured through the decades. Together, they built a family that Marvin cherished deeply. He was a devoted father to his daughters Shannon Sloan (husband John Sloan) and Shelly Addis (husband Jerry Addis), always offering them guidance and support. Marvin also found immense joy in being a grandfather to Briana, Lilly, Jerry Jr., and Gabriel Logan. His love for his grandchildren was boundless, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
