Mary Anne Whyland

Mary Anne Whyland, 70, of Farmington, NY passed away April 19, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer at Hospeace House in Naples, NY.

Born to Salvatore and Mary Guercio in Kenmore, NY, Mary Anne was predeceased by her parents and brother Jack. She is survived by much loved husband Bill; son Cory (Nnam) and brothers Vince (Bev), Joe (Nancy), Tom and Bill (Joanne).

Mary Anne valued providing service to others through her career in Occupational Therapy and membership in the Farmington Victor Kiwanis Club. She enjoyed playing in her gardens to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing in CNY, WNY, the Adirondacks and Maine were a big part of life together with her husband Bill. Mary Anne will also be remembered for baking her mother's recipes for Italian Christmas cookies and sharing them with family and friends.

Calling hours will be Saturday, April 25 from 10 to 12pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Service and burial will be private.
