Mary Lou (Barney) Brey

Mary Lou Brey died March 15th, 2026 following a short illness, she was born May 22nd, 1940 in Billings, Mt to Hiram Barney and Alice May Barney.
Mary Lou worked for First Student as a bus driver for approximately 40 years, she loved the students she transported and was known for her crazy hair colors and clothes and the best part her makeup. She was a huge Nascar fan, her favorite of all time was Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed zipping around town in her Porshe and visiting friends and family, if she wasn't there she was at Metra park watching the billings hockey team the bulls. She was married to Arnie Brey in 1958 they spent 57 years together before Arnies death in 2015 they had 3 children Ronnie Brey, Darold Brey ( Cindy), and Jerry Brey, she was also blessed with 6 grand children Jessica (Johnathan), Timothy(Nacoma),Brad (Jessica), Chassy (Jordan) , Jerod and Jordan and 9 great grand children. She had lots of family which she loved and loved her very much. She is preceded in death by her husband Arnie, her daughter Debbie and her parents and sister. Mary Lou's extreme generosity will be remembered by many people she helped so selflessly through her life. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her crazy self. Her impact is reflected in the lives she touched, the opportunities she created, and the many students whose paths were forever changed through her generosity. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and cherished her.

In accordance with Mary Lou's wishes no funeral services will be held and cremation has taken place at her request.
