Mary K. Clark (née Durham), 81, of Auburndale, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2026.

She passed peacefully, surrounded by love, after a life defined by faith, devotion, and steadfast care for her family.

Mary was born to Edward E and N. Kathleen Durham of Columbus, Indiana on December 24, 1944. She was the second of five children: Jesse, Mary, Linda, Jerry, and Norman.

She was filled with a generous spirit and a heart for service. She spent many years as a successful sales professional with Tupperware and later worked in real estate and health insurance, including Aflac, where she supported medical organizations with their insurance needs. No matter the role, she approached her work with integrity, warmth, and a genuine desire to help others.

Mary found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of life — tending to her garden, reading her Bible, and caring for her beloved husband of 60 years, Edgar M. Clark. She cherished time with her family and especially loved the memories made on epic road trips, Disney cruises, and at family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar; her children, Lorinda K. Clark and Lincoln E. Clark (and his wife, Leslie); her grandchildren, Katelyn C. Clark, L. Colton Clark, and Cameron P. Clark; her brother, Jerry Durham (and his wife, Midge); and many nieces and nephews. Her love for them was constant and unwavering.

A service to honor Mary’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Winter Haven on Friday, March 20. Family visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida, whose compassionate care brought comfort and peace in her final days.

Mary’s legacy is one of faith, devotion, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
