She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Cotta, her parents, and siblings. Mary is survived by her daughters Danielle Lightner (George) and Joette Cotta; her sister Vicky Frank; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Viewing and visitation for Mrs. Cotta will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Whitton Family Funeral Service, 740 W. 19th Street in Merced, California, followed by a Graveside Service on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Cemetery 260 W. Childs Avenue in Merced, California.
