Mary Ann Crotty

Mary Ann Crotty (nee: Lucarz), from Chicago, Illinois, passed away on February 18, 2026, at age 83.

Mary Ann is survived by her children Kathleen Terry (Crotty) and Daniel (Dawn) Crotty; her grandchildren Rachel (Jason) Moritz, Jacob Terry, Tasha (Brian) Mathis, Bryan (Brittany) Crotty, and Andrew Crotty; and her great grandchildren Kailyn, Brian, Luke, and Logan. Dear sister of Terri Johnson and Bernadette Barmann. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents John and Sophia Lucarz.

Mary Ann had a deep love for travel, lifelong learning, gardening, reading, quilting, antiquities, and piloting her own airplane. She worked for many years at the Art Institute of Chicago and in retirement, dedicated her time as a volunteer.

Services for Mary Ann will be held privately.
