Mary Ecker

Mary C. Ecker, age 64, of St. Paul Park Minnesota, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026.

She is proceeded in death by the love of her life Bob and cherished son Nick. Parents Frank and Leona Butina.

She is survived by her daughters Tami (Ryan) Bertram and Ashley. Her grandchildren Bentley and Kristalynn Bertram. Siblings, Mark (Paula), Kathy (Russ) Funk, Steve (Chris), Dave (Dawn), Stan (Debbie), Dianne (Rick) Dropik and John (Cindy) Butina.

Mary found immense happiness in spending time with Ashley and her grandchildren, cherishing their laughter and accomplishments. She also loved visiting the North Shore of Minnesota, finding peace amidst its natural beauty.

Mary will be remembered as an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose steadfast love and inspiring strength touched all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, strength and determination will endure in the hearts of those she held dear.

Her circle of love extended beyond family to include dear friends. Among them was Val, a cherished companion who stood by Mary through life’s joys and challenges.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday March 18th, 2026 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 920 Holley Ave. St. Paul Park, MN 55071. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at Church. Burial and luncheon to immediately follow.
