Mary Lynn Elliott

Mary Lynn Elliott, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on 02/07/2026 with family at her side after a courageous, lifelong battle with cancer.

She was born 09/20/1947 in Pontiac, Illinois, to the late George Rohrbaugh and Lena Wetherholt. After graduating high school, Mary Lynn moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she met and married William E. "Bill" Elliott in 1968. They built a loving life in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, sharing 33 years of marriage and raising their family before later relocating to Myrtle Beach. Bill preceded her in death in 2001.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Mary Lynn is survived by her children Wendy Savage (John) and Bill Elliott (Jennie), and by her cherished grandchildren Addison, Taylin, and Kaiden Elliott, who were the light of her life.

Following Bill's passing, Mary Lynn found love again with her partner, Skip Kletter. Skip's children Aaron, Chris, Misty, and Carl — and his thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren — became part of Mary Lynn's extended family; she welcomed them as her own and was lovingly known to many as "Grandma."

Mary Lynn will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the deep love she held for her family.

A memorial service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh, and a Celebration of Life will be held in Myrtle Beach. Dates and times will be announced by the family.
