Mary Hope Anderson

Mary Hope Anderson passed peacefully on March 13th 2026 at home surrounded by family and Archie the cat.
Mary Hope was born in Chicago Illinois's to the late Edwin Anderson and Genevieve Anderson.

In addition to her parents ,she was preceded in death by her son Micheal Allen Rowland, her sisters Diane Wade and Genevieve Kassel.

She is survived by her son Kevin P Rowland and his wife Elizabeth Rowland, and her son Daniel S Rowland and his wife Jodi Rowland.

Mary Hope is survived by her grandchildren: Courtney Rowland Hamilton, Genevieve Rowland, Emily Rowland and Paige Rowland.

Mary Hope is also survived by her great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mary Hope retired after a long career with the University of Miami, where she worked in many departments.
Mary hope's favorite department was by far the English department where she made so many friends who had the same love of books as she did.
