Mary Ellen Jordan

Mary Ellen Sebren Jordan, age 86 (3/2/39), a longtime resident of the Red Land Community of Florien, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Known for her warm heart and strength, she was devoted to her entire family. Mary was a source of unconditional love and unwavering support.

Mary was a Nurse legend and mentor in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Mary was skilled in almost every area of nursing. After a long and dedicated nursing career, Mary retired from Sabine Parish Medical Center.

Mary and her husband, Gerald were faithful members of First Baptist Church of Florien where they supported many outreach efforts. Gerald was a dedicated Gideon and Mary supported him wholeheartedly.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald, parents John and Mamie Sebren, and brothers Buster, Jimmy, and Jerry Sebren.

Mary is survived by her children, Ed (Tracy) Jordan, Tammye (Mike) Turpin, Yevette (Richard) Harrell, Carol (Leon) Flores, Sheree (Ken) Stephens, and Alan (Heather) Jordan; grandchildren, Jacob Harrell, Kyle Jordan, Tyler Harrell, Lauren Kennedy, Rosa Harrell, Madeline Stephens, Mollee Stephens, Mathew Stephens, Jackson Jordan, Reid Jordan, Brady Jordan, and Catherine Flores; and seven great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her brother, Kenneth Donnie Sebren and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Antioch Baptist Church in Florien, LA at 11:00 am followed by a Memorial service at 12:00 pm officiated by Brother Wayne Chance.
