Mary Louise Kluga, age 90, of Lake Village passed away surrounded by her loving grandchildren on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Mary Lou was a beloved mother, a devoted wife, and an extraordinary grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mary Lou loved spending time with her family, cooking, crosswords, and a good card game. Mary Lou was a kind and loving person; she would give her family the shirt off her back.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Steven C. Kluga Sr, her parents, Stephen Pupovac and Catherine Pupovac, and her sister, Mildred Nuccio.
Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Steve (Kim) Kluga Jr and Michael (Eva) Kluga, her sister, Kathryn (late Leo) Breski, her brother Stephen Pupovac, her grandchildren, Jeffrey Kluga, Kassandra (Jason) Besse, Michael S. Kluga, Marcus Kluga, Lisa (Reece) Holton, Hanna Kluga, and Steven Kluga, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Burns Kish Funeral Home in Munster, IN from 12PM-2PM for service and burial to follow at Concordia Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
Mary Louise Kluga was greatly loved and will be forever missed.
