Mary Ellen Lindsey

Mary Ellen Lindsey, aged 71, of Reading, OH, passed away on April 7, 2026. Born on July 21, 1954, Mary Ellen was a cherished member of her community and a devoted matriarch who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Mary Ellen's love extended deeply to her daughters, Johanna Rollins (Josh Carrico) and Melissa Lindsey, and her grandchildren, Jacob Rollins, Madeline Rollins, Rebecca Rust, Jonah Carrico, and Elijah Carrico. She also leaves behind seven siblings, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved immensely.
Her life was marked by her passion for the Cincinnati Bengals, her love of reading, and the many evenings spent playing cards, creating memories that her family will treasure forever.
Sadly, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her grandson Chris Rollins, granddaughter Megan Rust, and her parents George and Betty Hettel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can come together to honor Mary Ellen's memory and legacy. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her boundless love for her family, and her unwavering spirit.
