Mary Margaret Lee passed away surrounded by family on February 26, 2026, in Houston, Texas. She bravely fought cancer with incredible resilience and strength, until the time when God called her home. Mary was born on September 20, 1958, in Encino, California, to James Max Foster Sr and Margaret Elaine Foster. She was the middle child and sister to James Max Foster Jr and Sharon Elaine Foster. Mary was married to Edwin Chua Lee for 44 years. They shared daughters Vanessa Elaine Frey and Chelsea Ann Lee. Mary and Edwin split their time between residences in Cebu, Philippines and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Mary adored all animals, but she especially loved her Maltese dog, Buddy, who passed away in December 2025. There is no doubt that Mary and Buddy are together again now, playing and enjoying each other's company. She also loved to read, crochet, travel the world, and spend time with her family. Her Christian faith was strong, and her belief in God's plan brought her peace that she would be reunited with her family in the afterlife. She was an incredible wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband Edwin, daughters Vanessa and Chelsea, and sons-in-law Kevin Frey and Thomas Wuyek. Mary will always be remembered with immense love for her kind heart, caring nature, beautiful smile, and sense of humor. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
