Mary M. Mook passed away Saturday, April 4, surrounded by the ones that loved her most after a battle with breast cancer.
Mary was born on July 6, 1957, in Akron, Ohio. She was a true homebody and enjoyed the simple things in life like visiting with family, patchouli-scented candles, black licorice, and Emeraude perfume.
She was the daughter of the late Donald J. Pearl and Antoinette C. (Carrino) Pearl. Mary graduated from Kenmore High School in 1975 and married Charles (Chuck) Mook in 1976. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of this year.
Preceded in death by her parents and father and mother-in-law; son, Tony Mook; daughter, Shelby Wetzel; and sister-in-law, Cindy Jeffries, Mary is survived by son, Chad Mook; daughters Kim Mook; Amanda (Sam) Kutscherenko; and Alexis Mook (Alec Ramirez). She also leaves to mourn her passing eight grandchildren: Charley Coe; Trevor Wetzel; Ty and Tanner Kutscherenko; Ayla, Anthony, and Joslyn Ramirez; and Jenna; along with two great grandchildren.
In addition, Mary is survived by siblings Nancy (RD) Grayem; Madge (David) Schroeder; and many other family members.
Per Mary’s wishes, her body has been donated to Science Care and there will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
