Mary Julianne Falcone Phillips, born January 21, 1965, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026.
Mary was a woman of deep love, vibrant spirit, and unwavering faith. She loved God and lived her life rooted in that faith. She saw beauty and value in everything and everyone around her and had a special gift for making friends everywhere she went.
She found joy in life’s simplest pleasures, delighting in the color purple, butterflies, and anything tie-dye. She loved reading the Outsiders or watching And Justice for All, any Russell Crowe movie, or the Flintstones and Charlie Brown. She collected anything Disney and cherished taking her kids to movies at the Hillendale theater. She could spend hours in the arcades on the boardwalk, picking crabs, or sitting at the kitchen table crafting. Her joy was contagious, and her passions were shared generously with those she loved.
Above all else, Mary loved her family and friends fiercely, abundantly, and without reservation, undoubtedly leaving them all with a “Mary story.” She will always be deeply loved in return.
She is survived by her three children, Danna (Will), Frank, and Daniel (Ashley); her beloved grandchildren, Gabriel and Danny; her mother, Anita; her sisters, Joanna and Veronica (Duke); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
In a final act of generosity that reflected the way she lived her life, Mary donated her body to medical science. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to New Life for Girls at newlifeforgirls.org.
Mary’s love, light, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
