Mary Alice Short

Mary passed away peacefully after a long illness she was predeceased by her parents Bradley Vandermark Sr. and Virginia Vandermark. She is survived by her siblings Bradley Vandermark Jr., Stanley (aka. Leroy) Vandermark, James Vandermark, Marth Major, Phyllis Plymale, and Carlotta (Ken)) Kinney. She is also survived by her 4 daughters Linda (Frank) Hatton, Sherry (David) Young, Shirley Meara, and Ashley Short (Brian Bushofsky). Mary had 7 grandchildren Joseph Hatton, Dakota Hatton, Cody Hatton, Tara Young, Stephen Young, Skyler Meara, and Kayli Cluff and 5 great grandchildren Richard Rockwell, Gerald Ford, Richard Ross, Mila Ross and Darcie Hatton. There will be a going away party at Hickories Park in Owego NY on May 9, 2026 at 2 pm pavilion #3 Hotdogs and hamburgers provided we ask anyone who wants to celebrate Moms life to please bring a dish to pass.
