Marylou Noonan, 75, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Chester, Connecticut. Born on June 19, 1950, in Brockton, Massachusetts, she brought warmth and laughter to every chapter of her life.

Marylou grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from West Bridgewater High School in 1968, where she was a spirited cheerleader. Her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor made her the life of the party wherever she went. She later lived in several iconic Massachusetts neighborhoods including Beacon Hill, Harvard Square, and Watertown—places that reflected her love for culture, community, and connection.

Professionally, Marylou found great success and fulfillment as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Cambridge. For over two decades, she helped countless individuals and families find their homes with dedication and care. Her clients often became friends, drawn to her warmth and genuine nature.

Outside of work, Marylou was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book—especially at Oregon Beach in Cotuit. Yet nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beloved granddaughters, Piper and Rory. Whether sharing stories or laughter-filled afternoons together, those moments were the heart of her world.

Marylou is lovingly remembered by her son Andrew Gummow and his wife Teagan of Melrose, MA; her sister Sally Ratchford and husband John of Chester, CT; her sister Nancy Powell and husband John of Duxbury, MA; and her brother John Noonan and wife Dianne of Cotuit, MA. She also leaves behind nieces Jennifer Ratchford and Dara Grasso; nephew Daniel Noonan; several cousins; and many others whose lives were brightened by knowing her.

She was predeceased by her parents Paul J. Noonan and Mary Bernice Noonan, as well as her brother Paul Noonan.

Marylou’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and light-heartedness—a woman who could always be counted on for a joke or a smile. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on January 24th, 2026, at 01:00 PM at Kings Chapel Church 58 Tremont St. Followed by reception at Kings Chapel Parish House; 64 Beacon St, Boston.
