Maciej "Matt" Lukowicz
(also known as "Cadillac Matt"), 48, passed away on December 24, 2025.
Born on February 15, 1977, in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, Matt was a sensitive and loyal soul who simply wanted to love and be loved.
Life dealt Matt some very difficult cards, including losing his voice to cancer, but he met hardship with as much strength and resilience as he could. He was a true genius when it came to cars and found joy for hip-hop, movies, Cadillacs, the New York Yankees, and time spent with family and friends. Above all else, Matt's greatest blessing and love were his children, whom he cherished beyond measure.
Matt is survived by his beloved daughter, Julie, and son, Justin; his sister Melania Olek and brother Jacek Lukowicz, along with their children; and many other cherished family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jadwiga and Juljan Lukowicz, and his brother, Stanislaw Lukowicz.
A Mass in celebration of Matt's life will be held on February 7th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church in Kenilworth, New Jersey.
