Matthew Andrew Reising

Matthew (“Matt”) Andrew Reising, age 49, passed away
unexpectedly on January 26, 2026, due to complications
from Diabetes. He was born at Memorial Hospital in
Hollywood, Florida, on August 28, 1976, to Nicholas J.
Reising, Sr., and Carolyn Hoecherl Reising. He graduated
from Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in
Hollywood, Florida, in 1993.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn
Reising, and his brother-in-law, Christian D. Bottiglieri. He
is survived by his father, Nicholas J. Reising, Sr., his
brother, Nicholas J. Reising, Jr. (Lisa) and his sister, Karen
R. Bottiglieri. He is also survived by his nieces and
nephews: Kaylyn Bottiglieri, C. J. Bottiglieri (Madeline),
Nicholas J. Reising III, and Lauren Reising, as well as many
aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matt was a kind soul who was always willing to lend a
helping hand. Although he could be solitary by nature,
Matt loved and valued his family and enjoyed spending
time with his relatives and close friends.
Although he had various jobs during his life, Matt’s true
passion was music, and he began playing guitar and

singing in his early teens. Matt was an excellent guitarist
and was a member of various bands and musical groups
as a vocalist, guitarist and bass guitarist throughout his
life. He wrote and recorded original music and
performed on numerous stages across South Florida for
decades.

Matt had a philosophical view of life, and his life path
truly followed that vision.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in
Poseyville, Indiana, at St. Francis Cemetery, at 10:00AM. In
lieu of flowers, donations in Matt’s memory may be
made to ACHIEVE MIAMI.
