Matthew Clifford Webb, 45, passed away on December 2, 2024, in Seymour, Connecticut.

Born on September 5, 1979, in Lubbock, Texas, Matthew was the son of Tracy and Candace Webb. He possessed an inherent creativity that made every interaction with him engaging and thought-provoking.

Matthew had a deep passion for music and art, embracing both with an intensity that reflected his keen eye for detail and appreciation for craftsmanship. Whether it was "jamming" on the drums or admiring artistic works, he found joy in the beauty of expression. His love for gourmet cuisine was equally profound; he possessed an innate ability to understand flavors and techniques that elevated his culinary pursuits beyond a mere hobby into an art form.

In addition to his artistic talents, Matthew was highly skilled in occupational safety and health administration as an OSHA trainer. His expertise in this field showcased his ability to master complex subjects and apply them with precision. Whether tackling a new challenge or refining a skill set, Matthew approached every endeavor with dedication and meticulous attention to detail.

Matthew's presence left a lasting impression on those who knew him. His unique blend of intelligence, humor, and artistry made him unforgettable. May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Matthew was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Richard and May Webb. His maternal grandparents, Clifford and Shirley Scarr (Hooks), his uncle, Brian Malicki, and his favorite musician and vocalist, Peter Steele.

He was survived by his parents, Tracy and Candy Webb, until December 11, 2025, when Tracy left to join Matt in eternal peace. He is survived by his beloved brother, James Webb, his wife Michelle, and nephew Carter; His dear sister Holly Coronado and her children, Shaelynn and Odin. His Aunt Holly and cousins Kevin and Peter (Caitlin) Malicki; his Auntie Barbara and Uncle Pat McGauley. Uncle Ralph Webb, cousin Frank (Jodi) Webb. Cousins Patti and Aaron Welch. His dear friends Michael Scalise and Louis Montalvo, his closest friend, Doug Cartelli, and his family, along with many other friends and family.

A service celebrating the lives of Matthew and his father, Tracy Webb, will be held together on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Colchester Federated Church, 60 Main Street, Colchester, Connecticut.

In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Matthew's name to The Humane Society, reflecting his deep love and compassion for all animals, especially his chocolate lab, Duke.
