Melinda suffered a stroke on January 27, 2025 and passed away on January 04, 2026, peacefully as a result of continued complications. She moved to Sevierville, TN to continue her recovery and to be close to her granddaughter Breanna Muck and the Weaver family. Many milestones were celebrated and memories made.
Melinda was an organ donor and always wanted any of her organs donated to help someone live a better life. Rest in peace Melinda. You gained your wings, so fly high and always know you were loved so very much.
Melinda Burdetta (Beale) Muck, born July 15, 1963, passed away on January 4, 2026, due to complications from a stroke in January 2025. Melinda moved to Sevierville, TN, to continue her recovery and live her best life making memories with her grandchildren. She was a Berne Union graduate, Class of 1981, and attended Cincinnati Bible College. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, Mammam, and friend. Her love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Melinda is survived by her son, Ryan Muck; his father, Paul (Julie) Muck; her grandchildren, Breanna Muck, Aubrey Weaver, Braxton Weaver, and Anna Weaver; along with Cynthia and Steve Weaver, who were her caregivers through her recovery. She is also survived by her sister, Theresa Hyde, and her sons, Michael Dunkle and Aaron Dunkle; sister Brenda (Ray Hiles) Beale, and her children, Erin (Mike Ferguson) Lee, Jennifer (JD) Simmers, and Christopher (Brittney) Needles; sister-in-law Brenda L. Beale, and her children, Lindsey (Tim) Jensen, Emily (Jake) Vanderbrake, and Abby (Scott Zollars) Beale; as well as great-nieces,great-nephews and cousins. Melinda's special friend, Chris Logsdon, and so many others.
Melinda is preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles; her mother, Jacqueline Kibbey, Beale, Dudgeon, Moon; her father, Charles L. Beale Sr.; her brother, Charles L. Beale Jr.; as well as her beloved partner, Joseph Short.
Melinda will be remembered for her strength, loving heart, and meaningful connections she made throughout her life while working at Elder-Beerman, Discover Card Services, Christy's Pizza corporate office, Shoe Show and G2 Structures. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Melinda was known for her generous spirit, her caring nature, and her undeniable love for her family, grandchildren, friends and favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes. Go Bucks! She created lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
Melinda was a supporter and avid traveler with the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer. In lieu of flowers the family is recommending donations be made to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in her memory.
Celebration of life will be Saturday February 07, 2026 at Hope Community Church 3570 Coonpath Rd. Carrroll, Ohio 43112 1pm to 4pm,
