Mia Park, 60, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Palo Alto, California. Born on November 1, 1965, in Seoul, Korea, Mia lived a life marked by resilience, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family and career.
After immigrating to the United States as a child, Mia pursued her education with determination and excellence. She graduated from Independence High School in San Jose before earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Hayward. She later earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Birmingham—an achievement that reflected both her intellectual curiosity and global perspective.
Mia built a distinguished career in the real estate industry. For over two decades, she was a vital part of Intero Real Estate Services. As both an active real estate agent and a manager within the company, she played multiple key roles. She led Intero’s training center with passion and precision and served as the company’s Broker of Record—a position that underscored her expertise and leadership. Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Mia shared her knowledge as a longtime adjunct faculty member at De Anza College, where she found joy in teaching real estate classes and mentoring aspiring professionals.
A proud and loving single mother, Mia raised three children—Justin Park, Sarah Park, and Hannah Park—with great strength and devotion. She also supported her parents, Kihyuk Kim and Dukin Kim, throughout her life. Her brother Sung Kim was another cherished part of her close-knit family. Mia will be dearly missed by her longtime partner, Mike Tomlin, as the two were deeply in love with each other.
Mia was known for her kindness, intelligence, loyalty, and strength. She approached life with warmth and humor and faced illness with remarkable poise and toughness. Her generous spirit touched many lives—she had countless friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Mia's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and impact—in both personal relationships and professional accomplishments. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
