Michael "Mike" Blanchet (born 1947) passed away on December 20, 2025 peacefully. He was surrounded by loved ones in his last moments. He will be remembered as a loyal and playful soul who valued and loved his family deeply. He was also a devoted life-long Saints fan.
He is survived by his brother, Glenn Blanchet, sister-in-law Merita Blanchet, his nieces, Tasha Blanchet-Cardreon, Trisha Blanchet-Ancelet, and Michelle Blanchet; his nephews, Chris Blanchet and Scott Blanchet; a great-niece and many great-nephews. He is proceeded in death by his loving mother Bertha Lanclos, father Odo Blanchet and brother Randy Blanchet.
Mike will be interned at St. Johns cemetery in Lafayette, Louisiana beside his mother and brother Randy.
Mike's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace. 🤍
