Michael Bradley
1940 - 2025
Michael Bradley, born November 17, 1940, in Sterling, Colorado, passed away on October 19, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, at age 84.
Raised in Colorado, Michael graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1959 and earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado in 1965, followed by a Master’s in Electrical Engineering in 1968. He spent his college years exploring the Rocky Mountain foothills on motorcycles with a group of friends who remained close throughout his life.
Michael moved to Seattle to begin an engineering career at Boeing and married Ildiko Nagy in 1969. They settled in Montlake to raise their family. After leaving Boeing in 1981, Michael shifted to software development and later retired from Microsoft in 2007. In retirement, he lived in Gig Harbor, volunteered with Chapel Hill Church, and pursued his love of classic cars as an active member of the Ferrari Club of America, the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club, and the Classic Car Club of America.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ildiko; his children Peter (Alex) Bradley and Sarah (Jason) Lichtenberger; grandchildren Wyatt, Clara, Mia, and Brynn; and siblings Linda Rounsavell and John Bradley. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved dogs Kody, Reo, and Kona.
