Michael David Campos, beloved husband and best friend, father,
grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 56 on
November 15, 2025, in Boston, MA at Brigham and Woman's Hospital after
a lengthy illness. Michael was born on December 25, 1968, in Holyoke,
MA. Mike attended Chicopee Schools and was a 1986 graduate of
Chicopee Comprehensive High School. After graduation Mike followed the trade he learned
in high school working for local machine shops as a CNC Machinist.
Mike passed his knowledge on to others in the career he loved
and was exceptionally good at. He remained a CNC Machinist at J & E
Precision in Southampton, MA up until he had to retire due to health
reasons. Mike was best known for his quick wit, larger than life personality
and huge heart. Mike used these phrases frequently to describe himself, "It doesn't get better than this," "Chicks dig me" and "A Whole lot of good looking just entered the room." Mike always described life as "living the dream." Mike spent a lot of his time volunteering for various sports for our daughter and son. Mike was a bowling coach for our daughters' bowling league. He did the roster and helped coach our son's baseball team. He did the scoreboard and book for our son's basketball teams. Mike loved his family, the good times and many trips to Hampton Beach, NH, a good cup
of coffee and the conversations that went with it, the warming rays of the
sun and his tan, music - 70's the best, bowling, fast cars and was a huge
Nascar fan. Mike leaves after 40 years together his wife Valerie of South
Hadley, son and caretaker Justin of South Hadley, daughter Jessica & son-
in-law Ted Susen, granddaughter Emily (Little Pop) all of Chicopee, MA,
