Michael Frederick Chatel

Michael Frederick Chatel entered into his Savior's arms on February 11, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of deep faith, Mike proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a longtime member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara Chatel; sister-in-law, Peg.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lucy; his children, Jack (Debby), Andy (Rachelle), Jason (Florence), and Amanda (Frederick); grandchildren, Sabryna, Haylee, Keagen, Mikayla, Zachary, Rocque, Xander, Lucian, Victor, Sarah, Genevieve, Jude, Guadalupe, Beauregard, Bernadette; great-grandchildren, Zyliss, EJ and Harper; his brothers, Chris, Dan (Deborah), Brian (Nikki); and many extended family members and friends.

We are rejoicing that Mike is running alongside Ruger in Heaven!

A memorial service will be held in the spring, with details to be announced once finalized.
