Michael was the son of Capt. O.L. (Bill) Dauphin USN, and Lillian Moore Dauphin; and the husband of Linda L. Cannon Dauphin, who preceded him in death.
Michael was best known for his sharp wit, dry humor and ability to deliver a perfectly timed punchline with a completely straight face. One never knew if he was joking until they caught the slight twinkle in his eye—a quality that made him a favorite among friends and family.Michael is survived by his beloved son, Michael Thomas Dauphin; sisters Debra Dauphin-Jones and Joellen Brown; and his nieces and nephews.
Michael will be missed by those who understood his wit, appreciated his politics, and enjoyed a good laugh in his company.
