Michael Patrick Davidson, aged 72, passed away on November 12, 2025. Born on March 30, 1953, Michael, affectionately known as Mike, was known for his kindness, humor, and willingness to help others.
Throughout his life, Mike dedicated many years to the commercial construction industry, where he was highly respected for his work ethic and the strong relationships he built with clients. His commitment to his profession was unwavering, as he continued to work until his last day.
Survived by his wife, Melanie; son, Chris; daughter, Kelley; grandchildren, Jordan (Channy), Kaleb, Brandon, Kaylee, Katelyn, Brianna; and great-grandchildren, Cayomie, Cameron, Malakai, and Aliyna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Shirley.
Mike was an avid fan of Nascar racing, an enthusiastic Euchre player, and a self-proclaimed grill master, known for his ribs. His love for music was profound, often sharing his favorite tunes with friends and family, creating memorable moments. He was an avid collector of Lionel trains and cherished this hobby along with his dad, children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on November 21st at 10:30 am at St. Thomas a 'Becket church, located at 555 S Lilley Rd., Canton, MI 48188. Family visitation will occur from 10:00-10:30 am, with a luncheon to follow after the mass.
Mike will be remembered for his generous spirit, his enduring love for his family, and his ability to light up any room with a good joke. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
