Michael Duncan age 68 was born July 9, 1957, to Alonzo Sr. and Ernestine Duncan in Gary, Indiana. Michael served in the United States Armed Forces and was discharged with honors after serving four years of service. Michael worked for the Gary Police Department as a mechanic and held various other jobs in the Gary area. Micheal served as a cook at Church's Chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and his last known job was with Rooster's as he served as a cook. The celebration of life and legacy will be cherished and forever remembered by his daughter, Arteia Shelton affectionately known by her dad as baby girl of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sons, Terry Duncan of LaCosse, Wisconsin, and Darrien Amos of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, LaVerne D. Pryce of Memphis, TN; 2 Brothers, Ernest Duncan (Florestine), Delaney Worthy, Gary, Indiana. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles that loved him dearly. Loved ones that has transition, Father, Alonzo Duncan Sr; Mother, Ernestine Duncan; 2 sisters, Helen Duncan Coleman and Shirley Nance "Buttercup"; 1 brother, Alonzo Duncan Jr. The Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at McDuffie Funeral Home 1525 Broadway Gary, IN 46407.
