Michael E Getz

Michael E. Getz, 73, passed away on March 11, 2026, one day after celebrating his birthday.

Born on March 10, 1953 in Benton, PA, Michael was the beloved son of the late Jean E. and Elmer W. Getz.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days and was an avid reader of all things pertaining to history.

Michael is survived by his loving family, including his sisters, Cynthia Popovich (David) and Lisa DiStefano (Brian), sons Matthew (Jenna) and Kevin and grandsons Jackson and Owen.

Mike will be remembered for his quick wit, sharp mind, and impressive knowledge on countless subjects.
