Michael David Grenadier

MICHAEL GRENADIER, FILM & VIDEO EDITOR/PRODUCER

Michael Grenadier, a well-known film & video producer and editor, died on November 19 at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut from complications following treatment for colon cancer. He was 74.

Mr. Grenadier was born in New Rochelle, New York, and graduated from Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut, and from New York University's School of the Arts and Institute of Film and Television. Over the course of his career, he collaborated with scores of artists, musicians, producers and directors.

He is survived by his sister, Lisa Grenadier Connor, of Fairfield, Connecticut; a brother, Jim Grenadier, of Austin, Texas; and a niece and two nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Del Grenadier of Westport, Connecticut.

A celebration of Michael’s life is planned for June 6th of 2026 in Westport.
