Michael J. Iaquessa

Michael Iaquessa, 66, of Conway, South Carolina, formally of Branford, CT, passed away on February 28, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Michael was born on October 14, 1959 to the late John and Gloria Iaquessa. He was a long time resident of Branford until retiring to South Carolina with his beloved wife, Diane Iaquessa (Prisley).

Michael enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing amongst other hobbies but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. After Michael and Diane took a cross country trip in their RV, they landed in their new home of Conway enjoying the beaches and warmer winters together.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Diane Iaquessa, brothers John and Ronald Iaquessa and sister Mary Iaquessa-Dengler. He is survived by his children, Lindsay Iaquessa (David Poindexter) of Cheshire and William Arpino (Renée) of East Haven, his four grandchildren, Evelyn, Alexander, Mikayla and Cody, brothers Robert and Thomas Iaquessa and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
