Michael O Stephen Jones, 66, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away on February 22, 2026, at Saint Thomas West after battling several medical issues. His oldest daughter Crystal with her Husband Mark Copeland stayed by his side during his final days. Born on March 12, 1959, to James and Mary Jones in Shelbyville TN. Michael graduated from MCHS in Lewisburg, TN, and furthered his education at TCAT where he became a skilled Industrial Electrician. He dedicated several years of his career to Calsonic in Shelbyville, TN. Michael was a man of deep passions, cherishing his family above all. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Dawn Copeland (Mark) of Decherd, TN, and Cassie Hunt (Nathan) of Columbus, OH; brothers Randall Jones (Patricia), of Shelbyville TN, Timothy Jones (Dianne) of Whitehouse TN, and Darren Jones (Teresa), of Shelbyville, TN; his aunt Virginia Seal, and cousin Sharon Cole of Shelbyville, TN, Jimmy Bass was a hunting buddy and his Uncle which he spent a lot of time with; several grandchildren including Elizabeth Hunt, Kayla Whilhoite (Justin), Bryan Perry (Kinsley), and Kadelynn Perry; and great-grandchildren Connor Perry and Hazel Whilhoite. Proceded him in death are his parents, James F Jones and Mary R Bass Vanloon, sister Vickie M Jones-Whittaker, and grandparents Clyde Lee and Annie Shires Jones, and Henry and Dolas Simmons Bass preceded him in death. An avid deer hunter throughout his life, Michael found great joy outdoors. His devotion extended to his spiritual life, where he enjoyed worshiping his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He also had a deep affection for his little dogs, who were constant companions. Services are being managed by John Smith at Smith Family Funeral Services. A celebration of life with graveside services will be announced later. Michael's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his faith, and his community, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment.
