Michael Thomas Koscuisko, born on January 14, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 8, 2025, in Berry, Alabama.

He was the son of the late Leo T. Koscuisko and Sophia (Wasilewski) Koscuisko, and was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Conicello and his former wife Nancy Lea (Pannebaker) Koscuisko.

He served in the United States National Guard for six years (1970-1976). In 1973, after marrying Nancy, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked in construction for over 20 years and raised his two daughters. In the late 2000s, he settled in Berry, Alabama, where he came to call home.

He is survived by his siblings John Koscuisko, Leon Koscuisko, and Stella Bates; his daughters Renee Koscuisko and Theresa Koscuisko Lamb; and his beloved grandchildren Juliana Lamb, Logan Busby, and Grayson Lamb.

He will be remembered as an independent man who chose to live life on his own terms, often off the grid. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, camping and was gifted with his hands and took pride in building, fixing, and repairing anything from homes to cars. He leaves behind a legacy of self-reliance, perseverance, and quiet ingenuity that will be carried on by those who knew and loved him.
