Michael Wayne Meacham, 66, of Spokane, WA, passed away suddenly in a tragic traffic accident on February 9, 2025, near East Wenatchee, WA.
Mike was born on October 20, 1958, to Ned & LaVonne (Mitchell) Meacham in Yakima, WA. He was the third of seven children. Mike moved to Spokane with his mother and siblings in early 1960 and resided in the Spokane area until his passing. He attended Columbia and Regal Elementary schools, Shaw Jr. High, and Rogers High School. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Marine Corps and served a four-year tour stationed mainly at Camp Pendleton, CA.
Mike worked most of his career as a truck and charter bus driver. He also had a successful E-Bay business and former seasonal lawn care service.
Mike was an avid music lover. He appreciated and listened to all genres of music throughout his life. He had a very extensive music collection that he enjoyed sharing with others.
Mike is survived by his wife Trenda; daughters, Julie & Michaela (Spokane); son, Russell (Phoenix, AZ); step-daughter, Holly (Spokane); & step-son, Andrew (Bremerton); 8 grandchildren: Cedric, Conner, Olivia, Anika, Ella, Anthony (Spokane), Dominic, & Gabriel (Phoenix); his mother, LaVonne (Spokane); siblings, Suzanne (Bakersfield, CA), Darrell, Don, Jim, Carl, & Jennifer (Spokane). Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mike is profoundly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. He is fondly remembered for his kind and generous nature, his willingness to help others, his great sense of humor, and his wonderful smile & laughter.
