Michael E Meers

Michael E. Meers, 63, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2026, following a motorcycle accident. He was born on November 21, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Michael graduated in 1980 from Ocean City High School in Ocean City, New Jersey. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served with the New Jersey Air National Guard.
Michael began his career with the Philadelphia Electric Company, where he dedicated many years of service and eventually retired as a station operator. After relocating to Florida, he continued working as an electrician, bringing the same strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.
Michael was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his children, Jessica and Michael; grandchildren, Hunter, Levi, Sloane and Ollie; his parents, Barbara and Stephen Meers; his brother, Arthur; and sisters, Barbara, Michele, Jennifer and Kristina.
Michael loved adventure and especially enjoyed spending time outdoors riding his motorcycle and embracing the freedom of the open road. He believed deeply in showing up for the people he cared about. Whether it was through his quiet strength, his willingness to help, or his adventurous spirit, Michael left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
