Michael Lee Schmedding

Mike was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1940 to parents Bernice and Edwin Schmedding. He grew up in the Kansas City area before enlisting in the Marine Corp. in 1957.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Mark, his daughter Melanie, and his son Craig. He is survived by his loving wife, Lou Ann, his daughter and son-in-law Johna and Ray, his son and daughter-in-law Mike Jr. and Sandy and his granddaughters Alexandria and Abigail.

Mike and Lou Ann moved to Englewood, Fl in 2014 to be closer to Lou Ann's family and to pursue his love of fishing and boating. He was a proud American that lived life to the fullest. Mike was loved by all; he will be missed terribly. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
