Michael Guy Stegmann, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home on February 21, 2026.

Born on March 30, 1956, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Mike was the son of William and Dolores (Konkle) Stegmann. From an early age, he carried with him the values of hard work, family, and faith — principles that guided him throughout his life.

On July 24, 1982, Mike married the love of his life, Judy (Michel) Stegmann. Their marriage was built on deep love, faith, and devotion, and there was nothing Mike cherished more than Judy. Together, they raised two children, Angela and Eric, and built a life filled with laughter, commitment, and unwavering love. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

A skilled tool and die maker, Mike worked in various machining positions over the course of his career. He was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail — everything had its place. That same care and precision were evident not only in his work but in the way he lived his life.

Mike had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making others smile. Whether through a quick joke or a playful comment, he could bring warmth and laughter to any room. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life — fishing, hunting, and bird watching — finding peace and contentment in the beauty of nature.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his daughter, Angela (John Paul) Parmentier, and their children, Kimber, Sean, Sawyer, and Kennedy; his son, Eric Stegmann, and his children, Kayce, Kole, Karsyn, and Piper; along with his siblings: Kathy (Pat) Higgins, Connie (Bill) Nolte, Billy (Paula) Stegmann, Ron (Shari) Stegmann, Barbara (John) Seny, and Sandra (Todd) Konsela.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dolores Stegmann; his sister, Sara; and his beloved grandson, Kayden.

Mike will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his steady and kind presence, his humor, and the love he gave so freely. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Curative Connections, Unity Hospice, and to the many friends and family who offered their love and support during this time.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
at Knollwood Memorial Gardens,1500 WI-310 Manitowoc, WI 54220 with service to follow.
