Michael W Freeman

Michael W. Freeman, aged 51, passed away on February 22, 2026, in West Haven, CT. Born on April 16, 1974, Michael served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 1996, After his military service, he dedicated nearly two decades to his role as a Security Officer at 300 George Street, a position he held until 2024. An avid sports fan, Michael was particularly fond of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. His love for baseball and drawing were talents he proudly passed on to his son, Clark. Michael is survived by his son, Clark; ex-wife Lucy (Clark's mother); brothers Greg and Bobby Freeman; and sister Nancy (Walter) Kendrioski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Lawrence Freeman.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on April 16th at 2:00 pm at Middletown State Veteran Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. Michael's life and service will be honored in a ceremony reflecting his commitment to his country and the values he cherished.
